Neora Notes is a private encrypted notes application developed and operated by Noice. You can contact us through the support form on our website at neora.top.

We collect only the minimum data needed to provide the service:

• Username — chosen by you at registration, used to identify your account
• Email address — optional, used only for password recovery and support replies
• Encrypted notes — your notes in encrypted form. We cannot read the content
• Account metadata — creation date, last active timestamp, email verification status
• Support tickets — messages you send through our support form

We do not collect: your IP address for tracking, browsing behavior, analytics data, or any personal information beyond what's listed above.

Your notes are encrypted using AES-256-CBC before they leave your device. The encryption key is derived from your master password using PBKDF2 with 100,000 SHA-256 iterations. This means:

• Your master password is never stored or transmitted to our servers
• We only receive and store encrypted ciphertext we cannot decrypt
• Even if our servers were compromised, your note content would remain unreadable
• If you forget your master password, we cannot recover your notes

We use your data exclusively to:

• Authenticate your account and allow you to access your notes
• Send password recovery emails when you request them
• Reply to support tickets you submit
• Send announcements about important app updates (only when necessary)

We never sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for any commercial purpose.

Your encrypted data is stored on secure servers with automatic backups. All data is encrypted before storage, meaning even at the infrastructure level your note content remains unreadable.

If you provide your email address, we may send you:

• A 6-digit verification code to confirm your email address
• A temporary password for account recovery when you request it
• Replies to support tickets you submit
• Important announcements about Neora Notes (very rarely)

Emails are sent from noreply@neora.top. You can remove your email from your account at any time through the app settings.

We retain your data for as long as your account exists. You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time from within the app (Settings → Account → Delete Account). Deletion is immediate and irreversible.

You have the right to:

• Access your data at any time through the app
• Export all your notes at any time
• Delete your account and all data permanently
• Contact us with any privacy concerns via our support form

Neora Notes is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child has created an account, please contact us and we will delete it immediately.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. When we do, we'll update the date at the top of this page and may notify users through an in-app announcement for significant changes.
